Riding Towards the Cure for Multiple Sclerosis In
March 2011, Team Lamberts member, Chris Morris, will
cycle solo and unsupported across the United
States from San Diego, CA to St. Augustine, FL. Chris’ goal
is to recruit 1,000 sponsors to contribute 1 (one)
penny for each of the ride’s 3,000 miles
or $30/sponsor. The $30,000 raised will help in working towards the
cure for MS and eliminate this debilitating disease. Team
Lamberts Cycling was formed in June of 1999 as a
group of friends riding to raise money for the Maryland
Chapter
of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS).
Our close friend Gordon Jayne, who has been stricken with
Multiple
Sclerosis, is the Team Lamberts Captain. Team Lamberts
has raised over $340,000, completed 101 century rides,
and ridden
over 21,000 miles during the annual Chesapeake Challenge,
all in the name of fighting MS. To
